Proverbs 29:18

Without a vision the people perish.

Each of us needs to have a dream or a goal in our natural and spiritual life otherwise we wander around aimlessly without joy or purpose.

How exciting is it when we decide YES I am going on that holiday I’ve always wanted. It motivates us to save and plan to make it happen, it enlivens us.

If we keep pushing the dream down because we can’t afford it or we don’t think it will happen it never will because you are defeated right from the start.

The same is true in our spiritual life. We will never accomplish a lot to advance God’s Kingdom if we don’t have a dream, individually or as a church.

Each one’s dream may be different but ultimately should come down to seeing the lost brought into fellowship.

God has given us all the ministry of reconciliation and each needs to be working towards the fulfilment of our gifts, dreams and visions.

STOP LOOKING AT WHERE YOU HAVE BEEN AND START LOOKING AT WHERE YOU CAN BE.
