Tid Bit

People who try to do something and fail are infinitely better off than those who try to do nothing and succeed.

Thought for the Week

Are you trying to do something about something that you can’t do anything about?  One thing is required: trust.

“So if the Son liberates you then you are really and unquestionably free.” John 8:36 (Amp)

What is it that keeps us in bondage?

One of the biggest bondages is bitterness.

“Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled. ” Heb. 12:15 . (KJV)

Bitterness gains access into our lives through the door of unforgiveness.

Has someone hurt you, caused you grief? Understand that by choosing to forgive, you are not saying it doesn’t matter. It does matter, and what they did was wrong. But by choosing to forgive, you are allowing God to deal with that person, releasing him/her to God, Who is the Righteous Judge, and you are being set free.

Here is a useful prayer to pray whenever bitterness or resentment attempts to creep in, to put you into bondage. I keep a copy in my prayer diary.

Shalom and grace,

Marion
