Strategic Vision
To be known as Carriers of the Unmistakable Presence of God, Individually and Collectively. (John 17: 20-23)
Purpose Statement
That we show the Character of Jesus through the Demonstration of LOVE, ACCEPTANCE, VALUEand to give a SENSE OF BELONGING to each and every person; that we might have a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with Jesus Christ; that we may GROW to be the people God wants us to be - fulfilling our DESTINY and PURPOSE God had for us before we were born, and developing a CONFIDENCE TO SHARE WITH OTHERS what we have received, thus building the KINGDOM OF GOD through involvement in the LOCAL CHURCH.
Being Patient and Kind, Courteous and Thoughtful, endeavouring to outdo one another in acts of love.
Seeing each person for who they are and not judging outward appearances, their deeds or disqualify them because of their position in life; judging ourselves before we judge others.
Taking time to listen, showing care and compassion, discipline and correction, being ready to praise and honour each person and their giftings instead of criticizing or condemning.
We will give a SENSE OF BELONGING by:-
Welcoming in a warm and friendly manner, encouraging friendships and hospitality, building and strengthening a strong family atmosphere where people feel safe and fulfilled.
Recently we have been experiencing awesome times of fellowship with the Holy Spirit during our services and it makes me stop and think ' Why can't it always be like this?' I don't know why but God's word shows us that we should be experiencing it more often. Jesus Himself said:
'But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.' (Acts 1:8)
Are we enjoying God on Sunday mornings and walking out full of joy only to enter back into the world and return to our 'normal' lives? We need to abandon the normal and embrace these last days for 'The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. (Matthew 9:37)'. We need to infect and effect others with our joy. We need to go forward with boldness and joy to show the world what it means to be a child of the living God. I believe that as we step out and activate our faith and authority we will experience more of what God has for us.
